You might think that this is a good idea but today am telling you that it’s not.

We know that all apps are available on the Google Play store but we don’t know the reason why Google doesn’t want to allow them to be available in the store.
Most of them have been detected as a virus or malicious app and Google refuses to include them in their store.
Most apps display ads that are malicious and dangerous to our phones. Once you click on those ads, they might start performing some dangerous activity on your phone.
Most apps gotten outside the play store can even make your phone stop working, it can slow your phone down.
But the majority of the main aim is to steal your information and data. They will start asking for some permissions, some won’t even ask for permission but go directly and steal your information and data.
That is why we strictly advise that you should not enable install from unknown sources on your smartphone. You should only do that if you are very sure of the app you are installing and it’s from a trusted source.

Don’t install apps that contain ads.

Most of the app stores in the Android world indicate whether an app you want to install contains ads or not.
Some of the stores like Google Playstore, Mobogenie, and some other will tell you whether the app contains ads or ads free app. Those apps that are ads free are advisable to install.
Even those apps on Google Play store that contains ads are sometimes not advisable to install because those ads can take you to another site and from that site to another site that will endanger or steal your information and data.

Verify files before downloading.

This option can be achieved with the help of browsers. Most of the files and documents we download from may contain viruses, harmful, or malicious content that can damage or steal the data on our phone. I have seen the scenario’s where you visit a website and a pop-up occurs and take me to an unknown website that I don’t want to visit. Some of them might be porn, dating or betting, or other forms of unwanted activities. The next thing you will see is that a file or app will start downloading and are stored on our phone. Some browsers like UC Browser must ask you if you want to download the file or not. You can choose to cancel it or continue with your download. This can really help you to stop unwanted files from entering your phone.
Most of the malicious website when accessing them with some browsers will just push a file to your phone without you knowing. Those browsers can help you in the security of your information and data.

Using an Ad locker.

Before I rush into this one, I will like to explain something to you.
This activity requires you to root your phone for you to be able to use this feature.
Disclaimer: It’s advisable to overlook this part if you don’t know anything about Android Rooting.
Using an Adblocker can help you from entering an unknown website without your permission. It helps to stop many malicious website or advert enabled websites from taking us to unknown websites. It blocks pop-ups and can block in-app adverts.

Install an Anti-Virus on your phone.

This helps in securing the information and data on our Android smartphone. They easily detect insecure activities in our phones and alert immediately to take action what we want to do with them.
