Verify files before downloading.
This option can be achieved with the help of browsers. Most of the files and documents we download from may contain viruses, harmful, or malicious content that can damage or steal the data on our phone. I have seen the scenario’s where you visit a website and a pop-up occurs and take me to an unknown website that I don’t want to visit. Some of them might be porn, dating or betting, or other forms of unwanted activities. The next thing you will see is that a file or app will start downloading and are stored on our phone. Some browsers like UC Browser must ask you if you want to download the file or not. You can choose to cancel it or continue with your download. This can really help you to stop unwanted files from entering your phone.
Most of the malicious website when accessing them with some browsers will just push a file to your phone without you knowing. Those browsers can help you in the security of your information and data.
Using an Ad locker.
Before I rush into this one, I will like to explain something to you.
This activity requires you to root your phone for you to be able to use this feature.
